We’re back today with some of the most striking designs seen at the whole of the recent NYIGF - Mr Jones Watches. Many of their products are created in very limited quantities, so some of my favorite designs are still hot off the press and have not even been officially photographed yet! They’re all positioned at a decidedly affordable price point, and all designed with specifically commissioned artwork. Each timepiece tell its own story, and to make a long story short: I want one of these!

After a whirlwind handful of days, we’ve returned home and resumed business as normal - well, except for a pile of great stuff we got to see and get hands on with! It’s been a great 30 days of digging around London stores, researching new artists, and visiting the Summer Fair.  We’ve seen some incredibly cool new objects from a whole crop of new manufacturers that we’ll share over the coming weeks.

We’re counting down the days until we land in NYC for 3 days full of modern & contemporary design.  ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) is the largest exhibit and trade show of cutting edge lighting, furniture, and fixtures ... and it’s calling our name!  Come back and read our daily updates, product photos, and manufacturer spotlights.  often where we go to get inspired for our private design projects.  Look for our mobile blog to launch the evening of the 17th while we feed pictures from the ICFF opening party!

Well after months of hosting provider changes, name changes, blog software changes—puremodern blog is back… changes and modifications are continuing to make it the cool place to learn about modern products, architecture and our design services projects. So after all the months of downtime and the loss of the 2nd half of 2007’s entries let the fun begin....
